Sewer Lift Station Elliott Homes, Inc., a successful Northern California Developer, chose Syblon Reid to construct a sewer lift station for the Villages at Zinfandel residential subdivision development. Rather than tying in new sewer lines to the existing sewer line, which was too deep, Syblon Reid constructed an upgraded sewer lift station. Syblon Reid excavated a 7,400 cubic yard pit to install the forty foot deep wet well. The wet well was installed, along with tie-in of the existing sewer line to the new wet well. Surface improvements included a new control building, MCC and standby generator, masonry wall, and paving of the site. This project was completed in ninety calendar days, beating the allowed project completion time of one hundred-twenty calendar days. Technical elements of this project include:
