Diamond Creeks Subdivision
Location: Roseville, CA
Working for a private developer on a 131 lot
subdivision in Roseville, CA, the project scope consists of grading, sitework,
and underground utility placement. Grading and sitework included finish
grading and placing A/B, curb, gutter, sidewalk, and retaining walls.
Underground utilities trenched and placed included 3000LF of HDPE storm
drain, 4800LF of VCP sanitary sewer, and 6240LF of PVC water pipe. Additional
utility work included installing 12 fire hydrants, 55 gate valves, 131
- 1" service hookups, and 3300LF of irrigation sleeves.
Project challenges include installing a minimum
amount of storm drain before the rainy season to adhere to SWPPP requirements.
High density lots presented tightly spaced working conditions that necessitated
proper equipment selection and scheduling methods.
