City of Folsom, Orange Grove Wet Utilities Rehabilitation Project
The City of Folsom awarded Syblon Reid a contract to replace an aging domestic water system in Folsom, California. Over 3,192 feet of new 8 inch main water line and 2,142 feet of 6 inch and 8 inch sewer pipe were replaced. There were a multitude of re-routes of customer piping and replacement/repairs to the existing individual sewer lines in the project route. Although not necessarily a large project, it demonstrates Syblon Reid's willingness to take on difficult projects. Not only were there countless unmarked and unidentified underground utilities, the work had to be performed in such a way that no customer was not provided water for any longer than 4 hours.
