Balfour Beatty 84" Waterline
Syblon Reid performed excavation and placement of 1,500 feet of 84" Ameron steel raw water distribution pipe for the Freeport Regional Water Agency in Freeport, California. The trench excavations were 18 feet in depth and 12 foot wide. Each pipe section was 40 feet long and weighed up to 39,000 pounds. Pipe connections included both welded and mortar joints inside and out. Backfill and restoration grading were also included in the project scope.
