Commons Beach Access Enhancement
Under contract with the Tahoe City, Syblon Reid was awarded at contract to make improvements to a beach area on Lake Tahoe's north shore. Enhancement of the existing lake shore area included new playground equipment, picnic areas, granite benches, a new bike trail, granite staircases to beach area, restroom facilities, a new walkway and vistas along Highway 28, along with trail and walkway lighting throughout beach area.
In addition, rehabilitation and revetment of the beach area and the installation of the "Big Tree" sculpture completed the enhancement project.
